ECA Group’s Army Tactical Training is a warfare scenario simulator, mainly focused on high command level.
It allows to train in deploying and subsequent actions of any Army’s composing elements. From Division to Platoon level (even smallest specialized entity can be simulated, like Special Forces or scouting patrols), ECA Group’s Army Tactical Training allows to train in performing army tactical actions, as well as strategic level decisions.
The system simulates in real-time the progress of events based on trainee orders and enemy actions. The simulator supervisors can constantly maintain the control of any simulation parameter, change environmental conditions, communication parameters and trigger unplanned events (example tank failure, blown bridge, failure of communications, etc.).
The trainees act as commanding officers of division, brigades, platoons (or other entity differently grouped) with possibility to ‘assign’ different commanding units.
The trainee’s information are based on a Common Operational Picture (COP) which is updated during the simulation to all trainees with possibility to induce a situation update delay in order to simulate communication status and other delay factors or ‘isolate’ the trainee.
The system can be also expanded adding new instructors or trainee stations, or installing new training centres and even connect two training centres in an integrated exercise via a fast dedicated connection like a VPN.
