Identification vehicle K-STER I is a light weight self-propelled ROV dedicated to mine warfare. Its unique architecture ensures second to none performances in terms of hovering capability and stability in turbulent water. Easy to deploy from any kind of platform, the user friendly command and control software offers auto piloting functions to improve mission efficiency.

Operational Performances

Unique tiltable head fitted with sensors enabling a quick relocation and an accurate identification of various type of mines, Unique arrangement of actuators associated to a high performance command and control system giving fast and stable platform in all adverse conditions (strong current, turbulences behind the object to be inspected and identified ). The control command software is user friendly and includes autopilot functions to assist the operator. A combat training configuration is available for crew training purpose. It is fitted with a dummy warhead to simulate all firing sequence. The vehicle is recovered and can either use expendable FO or reusable one.
