UMEX & SimTEX 2018 | 25 - 27 February | ECA Group showcases its robotic and training simulation solu
Join ECA Group experts at UMEX & SimTEX 2018, Booth B102
ECA Group will be pleased to welcome you on its booth 03-A22 in ADNEC from February 25th to 27th 2018 to present you its range of unmanned robotic solutions at Sea, on Land and in the Air for applications in the sector of Defence & Security as well as .
ECA Group solutions to be presented at UMEX & SimTEX 2018
Robotics and integrated systems
Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs)
ECA Group’s range of unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) allows to perform missions even in the most confined areas. ECA Group's UGVs can be used for both military and civilian applications, such as IEDD/EOD, demining and trap removal operations. ECA Group's land robots can be quickly deployed and do not affect the tempo of the mission, while drastically reducing human exposure to danger.
ECA Group has designed and produced 2 medium size UGV solution for EOD/IEDD intervention in any demanding confined or hard to reach environment: Cameleon E & Iguana E. Mobile and resistant, these robots can equipped with different payloads like manipulator arm, X-RAY systems, disruptors, laser, etc. environments. The capabilities of these UGV in terms of detection, analysis and manipulation meets all needs and expectations of the civil security forces and military forces.
ECA Group also provides cutting edge quick deployment combat-proven Mini UGVs for EOD and IEDD such as COBRA MK2 E. These unmanned ground vehicles are increasingly deployed by civil security forces to cope with multifaceted threats. Its modular architecture allows to embed different sets of payload from detection to neutralisation and various water disruptors. Due to its very light weight the Cobra MK2 E can be deployed using the IT180 UAV in UGV-UAV collaborative scenario.
Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
ECA Group designs and develops Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to perform different types of missions: intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and recognition (ISTAR) or electronic intelligence missions, such as detection and identification of communication systems (IMSI) missions. It can also support OED / IIED operations to provide radio relay or real-time direct view of the intervention as part of a collaborative scenario with UGVs
The range of IT180 UAV solutions can be used in both autonomous and in a tethered mode for permanent missions. ECA Group UAV solutions are combat-proven and are used by armies worlwide, including the French Army.
Naval Robotic solutions (AUVs / USVs / ROVs)
ECA Group aims at developing systems of drones and to do so, has engaged in strong R&D efforts. Its innovative unmanned solutions are optimized to successfully perform missions for both military (such as) and civilian applications (such as Oceanography and Hydrography).
During UMEX & SimTEX 2018, ECA Group will be showcasing its range of autonomous and remotely operated vehicles robotic solutions, as well as its fully integratedsuite, including its:
ECA Group is committed in developing systems able to inter-communicate and work together in order to reduce human exposure to threats. With this objective in mind, ECA Group developed its , which is a fully automous system combining several types of surface and underwater unmanned robots deployed automatically from an USV by a LARS system. can perform various type of missions, but its capabilities have been successfully demonstrated in particular for the following operations:
- Coastal protection: Dedicated to the security of coastal and port infrastructures, the solution UMIS for Security developed by ECA Group is composed of a fleet of different surface and underwater robots wearing sensors to detect, prevent or for response in order to fight against terrorism, malicious or activism acts.
- Underwater Mine warfare: From a surface vessel, AUVs and ROVs are launched: SEASCAN MK2 for Mine identification and the K-STER C mine disposal system for neutralization. The system can be used collaboratively with the embedded Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) of ECA Group's A9-M AUV or A18-M AUV, to reduce the duration of the MCM Missions.
Naval forces training
ECA Group is also active in the development ofsolutions for Naval forces. Its innovative training systemes ranges from Mine Warfare Data Management training, to navigation simulation, tactical miisson such as warship ( ) and , ECA Group solutions are flexible and enable to perform training in different configurations: from single system for individual training to team trainers or even to more complex simulation scenario using multi-platform simulators.
Military Driving simulation
ECA Group is also engaged in Driving simulation for Land forces. Its offer will also be presented during UMEX & SimTEX with ECA Group’s, an armored vehicle full scale replica able to recreate missions’ environment with accuracy. ECA Group simulators are designed for both autonomous and collaborative trainings and have many options to adapt any type of needed training
