At the occasion of SITDEF 2017, ECA Group will be showcasing its complete range of integrated unmanned systems for Air and Sea, equipment and training simulations solutions for Defence & Security.

Robotics & Integrated Systems

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)

For Air surveillance, ECA Group has acquired a solid expertise in the design and development Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Its solutions specifically are designed to meet highly demanding requirements to perform intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and recognition (ISTAR) missions. Its IT180 UAVs can be used autonomously or in a tethered mode for permanent missions. The Paradrone, ECA Group's UAV solution for counter-drone application will also be part of the offer displayed.

Ship Equipment & Protection

Complementing its offfer in robotics, ECA Group supplies a wide range of Systems & Equipment for Submarines as well as Surface Ships, ranging from platform management to command & control systems and propulsion & energy systems.

ECA Group is actively engaged in the field of Underwater acoustic and electromagnetic signatures. These new threats expose naval forces to risk of detection, classification and localization. It is therefore needed for  performant signature management systems to reduce the risk.

ECA Group’s modular ranging systems have been developed to meet MCM and ASW requirements. These include magnetic signature reduction systems and multi-influence ranges.

ECA Group will present its innovative Magnetic Risk Solution based on UAV IT180, called STERNA® for underwater magnetic signatures reduction.

Training Simulation

ECA Group is actely engaged in the field of Training Simulation. The group offers Naval Training Simulation solutions for a wide range of missions a situation at sea: From Mine Warfare Data Management training to Surface Ship and Submarine Tactical simulation. Its training solutions have many options and can be used  for both individual team trainers trainings, and even to more complex multi-platform simulators.
