ECA Group will be pleased to welcome you to present you its range of unmanned robotic solutions at Sea, on Land, and in the Air for applications in the sector of Defence & Security.
ECA Group offers a wide range of innovative and comprehensive technological solutions to face current and future challenges. Constantly innovating to improve the capabilities and performance of its robotic systems, ECA Group supports the Naval and Land forces to carry out ever more complex missions in hostile or restrictive environments.
ECA Group offers a whole range of naval drones and systems that are optimized to successfully perform an operation at sea in various activities such as Underwater Mine Counter Measures, counter-piracy, harbour or asset protection.
For underwater Mine Counter Measures, ECA Group is an expert in the development of mission-driven interoperable systems capable of tackling the most demanding Mine Warfare missions.
Developed by ECA Group, UMISTM is the new generation Mine Counter Measures (MCM) Unmanned Systems. UMIS is able to carry out any MCM mission, using a collaborative system of surface and underwater robots. UMIS has proven to be faster in fulfilling operations, more efficient, cost-effective and safe, as the crew is kept away from the minefield.
Comprehensive and modular, UMISTM includes a wide range of interoperable unmanned vehicles such as USVs, UUVs (AUVs, ROV, MIDS ROVs), towed sonars, UAVs, etc. All of these unmanned systems integrate a comprehensive software suite UMISOFTTM, acting as a Command and Control interface allowing easy and complete management of the entire unmanned mission: preparation, run and supervision, data processing and analysis. UMISOFTTM manages as well parallel drones missions, robot-from/on-robot deployment (such as USV deploying and retrieving a UUV) and all automatic launch and recovery systems (LARS from USVs). UMISOFTTM can be integrated into the combat mission system (CMT) of the vessel (MCMV).
It is the ideal solution for Navies and Homeland Protection operators engaged in battlefields and survey or intervention missions at sea.
ECA Group aims at developing systems of drones and to do so, has engaged in strong R&D efforts. Its innovative unmanned solutions are optimized to successfully perform missions for both military and civilian applications.
During Rencontres Régionales Sud de la Défense 2022, ECA Group will be showcasing its range of autonomous and remotely operated vehicles robotic solutions:
ECA Group is committed to developing systems able to inter-communicate and work together in order to reduce human exposure to threats. With this objective in mind, ECA Group developed several types of surface and underwater unmanned robots can that - in swarms or independently - be deployed automatically from an USV by a LARS system. ECA Group's drone systems can perform various missions, but their capabilities have been particularly efficient for operations involving:
ECA Group’s range of unmanned ground vehicles (UGV) perform missions even in the most confined areas. ECA Group's UGVs can be used for both military and civilian applications, such as IEDD/EOD, demining and trap removal operations. ECA Group's land robots can be quickly deployed and do not affect the tempo of the mission, while drastically reducing human exposure to danger.
ECA Group has designed and produced medium size UGV solutions for EOD/IEDD intervention in any demanding confined or hard to reach environment: Cameleon E, Cameleon LG E & Iguana E. Mobile and resistant, these robots can be equipped with different payloads like manipulator arm, X-RAY systems, disruptors, laser, etc. environments. The capabilities of these UGV in terms of detection, analysis and manipulation meets all needs and expectations of the civil security forces and military forces.
ECA Group also provides cutting edge quick deployment combat-proven Mini UGVs for EOD and IEDD such as COBRA MK2 E. These unmanned ground vehicles are increasingly deployed by civil security forces to cope with multifaceted threats. Its modular architecture allows embarking different sets of payloads, from detection to neutralisation and various water disruptors. The lightweight Cobra MK2 E can be deployed using the IT180 UAV in UGV-UAV collaborative scenario.
ECA Group designs and develops Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to perform different types of missions: intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and recognition (ISTAR) or electronic intelligence missions, such as detection and identification of communication systems (IMSI) missions. It can also support OED / IEDD operations to provide radio relay or real-time direct view of the intervention as part of a collaborative scenario with UGVs.
The range of IT180 UAV solutions can be used in both autonomous and tethered modes for permanent missions. ECA Group's UAV solutions are combat-proven and are used by armies worldwide, including the French Army.
