Join ECA Group experts at Oceanology International London - Booth L200
ECA Group will be pleased to welcome you during Oceanology International 2018 on its booth n°L200. The exhibition will take place on March 13 - 15th 2018, in London Excel Building to present its range of unmanned robotic solutions for the Subsea market, including:
- Underwater inspection
- Hydrographic Survey
- Search and Rescue
ECA Group solutions to be presented on Oceanology International 2018
For more than 50 years ECA Group has been designing, developing and supporting advanced solutions in the Maritime sector. Its robotic and integrated systems meet the requirements of the constantly evolving Oil & Gas, Subsea, Hydrographic, Oceanographic and Equipment industries.
ECA Group integrated robotic systems
Robotic solutions for the subsea market
ECA Group offers a wide range of unmanned (AUV) or remotely operated vehicles (ROV) to carry out deepwater exploration, pipeline inspection, Seabed survey missions. These solutions are supported by high-performance unmanned based tools for seafloor mapping with bathymetric, sidescan and subbottom systems to make the most of the data collected through the missions.
ECA Group's range of unmanned robotic systems for subsea applications will be displayed on the booth during OI 2018, including :
ECA Group naval robotic solutions
In addition to its robotic solutions for subsea markets, ECA Group will also display its complete range of Unmanned solutions, which together can handle a collaborative work thanks to the recently developed suite "UMIS" : one single system controlling several underwater and surface robots, to monitor and complete the entire mission at sea. The system is composed of:
Aerial Drones - UAV Solutions
ECA Group has acquired a solid expertise in the design and development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Its solutions are specifically designed to meet highly demanding requirements to perform intelligence, air surveillance, target acquisition and recognition (ISTAR) missions. Its IT180 UAVs can be used autonomously or in a tethered mode for permanent missions. They can work collaborately with naval drones to conduct maritime missions over large areas.
H300V, ECA Group's latest range of Observation class ROV
During OI 2018, Discover H300V ROV, a range of Observation Class ROV with 4 horizontal vectored thrusters for inspection missions in very harsh environments, up to 300 m depth. This range of ROV is modular and can be easily configured according to customer's needs thanks to a wide range of sonars, manipulator arms and tools, and any type of sensors.
In addition, to its robotic solutions for subsea markets, ECA Group will also display its Unmanned Maritime Integrated System (UMIS).
ECA Group engaged in ultra-deep survey inspection
In the field of Seabed exploration, ECA Group is also currently working on a new AUV program named “CORAL”, recently launched by IFREMER. The new platform will be dedicated to large seabed areas survey up to 6000 m depth, with has main function, to respond to demand of Scientifics for deeper and multi-parametric exploration. The main domain of application for this new AUV is scientific research, cartography, environmental mapping and exploration.

IfremerECA Group & Ifremer partners for CORAL Alliance: A6K - An innovative ultra-deep Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) for survey and inspectionIfremer has chosen ECA Group to develop an ultra-deep AUV reaching 6000 meters water depth as part of the CORAL Alliance (Cooperative Off-Shore Robotics ALliance). | 13th March 2018 3 pm - 3.30 pm Booth L200
ECA GroupSpecific ROV solution for UWILD applicationsUnder Water Inspection(s) in lieu of Dry-Docking (UWILD), or In Water Surveys (IWS), are required to ensure the structural and operational integrity of a marine asset throughout its operational life span. ECA GROUP has designed a specific ROV solution to meet 100% of hull examination requirements specified by international classification societies (IACS) such as ABS, DNV-GL and Lloyds. | 14th March 2018 11 am - 11.30 am Booth L200
