At the occasion of MILIPOL in Paris, taking place in Parc des Expositions Villepinte, ECA Group will present its offer of unmanned robotic solutions (aerial & ground vehicles) as well as its driving simulation solutions it is booth 6 L 025 (Hall 6).

Robotics & integrated systems

ECA Group manufactures a wide range of unmanned or remotely-operated robotic systems. Its robotic solutions are integrated, able to collaborate with each others and meet the highest levels of requirements for innovative and effective tools in the field of Defence and Security.

Coastal and Port protection

ECA Group will display its latest UMIS solution for security.

Based on the INSPECTOR MK2, an unmanned surface vehicle navigating in autonomous mode, the system has been designed for coastal and port security operations. The USV can escort and intercept suspicious boats In addition to the USV, autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) or remotely operated (ROV) can also be deployed along the coastline to verify whether the seabed has been modified (check on dumping but also mines or improvised explosives).

Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV)

At Milipol Paris 2017, ECA Group will present its full range of unmanned ground robots (UGV). To be used whether for military and civilian applications, it can perform many different tasks, even in confined areas, including: IEDD/EOD, mine-clearing and trap removal operations.

ECA Group will display its unmanned ground vehicles from the smallest to the biggest-sized of its range: UGV COBRA MK2 , Cameleon & Iguana.

IGUANA E PRODUCT LIVE PRESENTATION : MODULAR DESIGN – MULTIPLE MISSIONS – AUTOMATIC FUNCTIONS	ECA Group technical & commercial teams will be giving a presentation of its last generation UGV, the IGUANA E. This two-man portable UGV has a modular design allowing to choose between 2 different size of arms (Plug&Play) to adapt the IGUANA E to the exact operational need in terms of compacity & capabilities. Able to carry various EOD/IEDD & CBRN payloads (Plug&Play) simultaneously, the IGUANA E provides a complete & progressive answer to the CBRNe threat. This IGUANA E live presentation will particularly showcase the automatically reached predefined positions to get quickly ready for various missions & the intuitive operating mode of the manipulator to ease precise arm intervention , with the various articulations of the arm automatically adjusted for the gripper movement up-down, left-right & forwards-backward.
TRAINING SIMULATION \| MILITARY SUPPLY TRANSPORT IN URBAN ENVIRONMENT DURING RIOTS	A military multipurpose logistics truck has to bring equipment from barracks to a riot area. Driver is guided through the city by his/her passenger who holds a city map. A light vehicle precedes it to recon the route. Barricades and demonstration block the planned route.
TRAINING SIMULATION \| LAW ENFORCEMENT INTERVENTION IN URBAN ENVIRONMENT	A law enforcement truck has to bring supply/troops/materiel from the police station. Driver is guided through the city by his/her passenger who holds a city map. An undercover police vehicle preceded the truck to recognize the route.Barricades block the planned route.
TRAINING SIMULATION \| LOGISTICS TRANSPORT IN DESERT AREA	A material transport truck must go from a camp to resupply to a rear base. The pilot is guided through the desert by the passenger holding a map of the area. An unprotected light vehicle precedes it to recognize the course. IED are on the planned route.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)

ECA Groups is also active in the aerial drone sector. Its expertise in the design and development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), enables the company for propose multi-use aerial drones to perform various kinds of missions including surveillance, target acquisiton or to counter malicious drones.
