At the occasion of DEFSEC, ECA GROUP will present its offer of unmanned aerial, ground and underwater robotic / vehicles solutions, from October 05 to 07th, in Halifax, Canada.
ECA GROUP offers a wide range of unmanned or remotely-operated robotic systems. These are fully integrated, able to collaborate between each others and are able to meet demanding requirements for innovative and effective tools in the field of
In the naval field, ECA GROUP offers a wide range of innovative and comprehensive technological solutions to face current and future challenges. Constantly innovating to improve the capabilities and performance of its systems, ECA GROUP supports the Naval Forces to carry out ever more complex missions in hostile or restrictive environments.
ECA GROUP offers a whole range of naval drones and systems that are optimized to successfully perform a operation at sea in various activities such as Underwater Mine Counter Measures, counter-piracy, harbour or asset protection.
More specifically for underwater Mine counter measures, ECA GROUP has been developing mission driven interoperable systems capable of tackling the most demanding Mine Warfare missions.
Developed by ECA GROUP, UMISTM is the new generation Mine Counter Measure (MCM) unmanned system able to carry out any Mine Counter Measure (MCM) mission, using a collaborative system of surface and underwater robots even in the most challenging environments.
In use within several navies since 2016, and being chosen in 2019 by leading NATO navies for MCM missions, the Belgian and Netherlands Navies, UMIS is a game changing solution for mine hunting at sea.
It has proved to be faster in fulfilling operations, more efficient, cost-effective and safe, as the crew is kept away from minefield.
Comprehensive and modular, UMISTM includes a wide range of interoperable unmanned vehicles such as USVs, UUVs (AUVs, ROV, MIDS ROVs), towed sonars, UAVs, etc. UMISTM also integrates UMISOFTTM, a C2 MCM comprehensive software suite allowing easy and complete management of the entire unmanned mission: preparation, run and supervision, data processing, analysis and management.
UMISOFTTMenables to manage parallel drones missions, robot-from/on-robot deployment (such as USV deploying and retrieving a UUV) as well as automatic launch and recovery systems (LARS from USVs) and can be integrated into the combat management system (CMS) of the vessel (MCMV).
UMISTM will be presented with its mission management software suite.
It is the ideal solution for Navies and Homeland Protection operators engaged in battlefields and in survey or intervention missions at sea.
For operations at sea, ECA GROUP has been developing state-of-the-art robotic systems to facilitate operator's missions and reduce missions' duration while providing high quality data and high performance.
ECA GROUP naval drones can detect, classify, locate, identify and neutralize threats at sea. A wide range of unmanned or remotely operated vehicles are available to reduce human exposure to danger. This includes:
Already used by several renowned Navies, these systems have proven their performance, especially in Mine Counter measures activities.
