ECA GROUP has received €3,37 million as part of the French government’s recovery plan, “France Relance”.
The goal, particularly in the aeronautical sector, is to reinforce the industry’s competitiveness via modernised production modes, a digital transformation and improved environmental performances.
The French government has selected ECA GROUP’s aeronautical division based in Toulouse, as one of those companies that will contribute to leading the way out of the economic crisis.
A criterion to be eligible for the government’s funding is to continue to innovate, to modernise, to consolidate and to diversify the company’s activities.
Following an ambitious investment plan to modernise, to accelerate the digital transformation, and to improve the company’s environmental footprint, ECA GROUP will reinvest the subsidies into its Toulouse site, which will be beneficial to a large network of local suppliers and partners.
ECA GROUP, a world leader and pioneer in the production of Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELT), will re-invest this funding into the company’s next generation safety beacons ELITE SC, which are compliant with the latest safety regulations regarding lithium batteries.
As diversification can signify a more stable financial base, ECA GROUP will boost synergies between its aeronautical and robotic activities for joint projects in the space, defence and naval sector.
To answer the need for digital communication in times of cancelled trade shows, ECA GROUP has also invested into a digital showroom to meet customers virtually.
The company’s diversification and investment into the right products together with the government’s precious funding have enabled ECA GROUP to keep its entire workforce and to create new jobs despite the aeronautical standstill.
The French government has recognised ECA GROUP as one of the leading companies to strengthen the national economy and to keep the aeronautical infrastructure going. ECA GROUP would like to thank the government for their trust into the company’s economic strength.
