UST Magazine: ECA Group to equip Monaco Public security with IEDD / OED Iguana E UGV

ECA Groupwill supply its IGUANA E unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) to Monaco’s Public Security Department to enhance security and their surveillance missions capabilities.
Monaco has previously selected ECA Group’s CASTOR robot and chose to upgrade their robotic equipment further with ECA Group’s latest-generation UGV, the IGUANA E.
The IGUANA E is a compact robot to carry out demining missions, counter-IED (Improvised Explosive Device) work and EOD (Neutralization, Removal and Destruction of Explosives).
designed with a modular architecture, the IGUANA E can be equipped with different modules for various applications, including performing ISR, EOD & CBRN missions.
Operational day and night, the IGUANA E can be used in different environments, whether indoors our outdoors. In addition, the mobile base and its modules have been designed to be highly rugged, which allows the IGUANA E to be operated in all climate conditions as well on any type of terrain.
IGUANA, thanks to its portable X-ray system can determine the contents of packages or luggageand proceed to disposal missions using disrupter water cannons.
