ECA GROUP’s first autonomous logistics was delivered to French supply chain provider IDEA. Now, ECA GROUP will export its outdoor solution to Germany.
After delivering the first outdoor autonomous mobile robot (AMR), the L-S 1PT, to the French supply chain provider IDEA, ECA GROUP is now exporting its technology to Germany.
The L-S 1PT has been operating on a large industrial site in Nantes for some months.
A German manufacturer of industrial gases will test ECA GROUP’s outdoor autonomous mobile robot in real operating conditions on their site.
The company is interested in ECA GROUP’s AMR technology due to its capability to operate in a complex environment and to transport logistic items autonomously with no change of infrastructure.The ECA GROUP solution meets all the key requirements defined by the gas provider: indoor & outdoor exploitation, operational in all weather conditions, safe interactions with other road users and perfect adequacy with industrial infrastructures.
The company will test in real operating conditions directly on their site in November.
It is an opportunity for ECA GROUP to demonstrate that the AMR technology is adapted to hazardous industrial environments, and to show how it optimizes logistic flows.
