ECA GROUP UNVEILS ITS LATEST RANGE OF EMERGENCY LOCATOR TRANSMITTER (ELT) SOLUTIONS
In line with new safety standards, ECA GROUP is launching ELITE SC, the new generation of ELITE Survival ELTs (manually or water activated), which will be ETSO/TSO-C126c certified in Q2-2021.
ELITE SC owns its name to this level of certification (ETSO/TSO-C126c), which will be mandatory for new programmes.
An Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT) is an onboard-equipment that transmits a distress signal to a satellite in case of accident or major disturbance. This signal allows the precise localization of the aircraft. ELTs are therefore an integral component of the international satellite system for search and rescue COSPAS-SARSAT.

We are certain that our ELITE SC will be a success, as it is an affordable and reliable solution for airlines and aircraft manufacturers,” says Mr Descamps.

ECA GROUP’s new generation of safety beacons is designed to obtain the latest EASA/FAA ETSO/TSO-C142b approval letter, based on the DO-227A requirements (Minimum operational performances standard for non-rechargeable Lithium Battery).
