ECA Group, has been awarded, a contract for the delivery to the SAS Maurin service company, operating in iin the south of France, of an exhaustive Pipe Cruiser inspection and measurement system that will permit to carry out operations within sewers pipes with internal diameter ranging from 150mm to 600mm such as:

• Tightness tests on sewer networks
• Leak detection
• 3D inspection

About Pipe Cruiser

The Pipe Cruiser system is a modular robotic system for inspection and diagnosis of internal conditions of pipes from 150 to 2000. ECA Group Pipe Cruiser solution is equipped with a swivelling head TV camera equipped with zoom and mounted on a multidirectional trolley.

Sewer lines inspection using Pipe Cruiser crawler robot enable to perform preventive actions, detect anomalies in the network, thus permitting a regular flow in the sewer, and avoiding spillage into the environment.
