ECA Group helds a successful seminar: AUV & ROV subsea survey solutions for offshore services and energy operators

This successful event  and was an opportunity to discuss about pre-lay surveys solutions necessary for any subsea construction with professionals in offshore services and energy operators.

The visitors could appreciate the AUV A9, a man portable system easy to deploy from any vessel which offer new opportunity for cost savings while maintaining safety and efficiency to the highest standard. Its patented system of navigation guarantee a very accurate fly close from the seabed both with challenging relief (for example: dunes) or water current, enhancing the data quality compare to conventional hull mounted sonar or towed fish. Multitasking operation made by AUV, K-STER and potentially unmanned surface vehicle (USV) can be managed from the same vessel improving sharply speed survey and reducing survey OPEX.

The group of work could appreciate a real time post processing using TRITON Survey Suite. After detection of potential UXO, the autonomous mode of K-STER directly reach the target before real time inspection.
