The A27-M is the largest Autonomous Underwater Vehicle of the ECA’s family of AUVs designed for MCM detection, classification and localization. With an endurance over 35 hours, this vehicle, fitted with Synthetic Aperture Sonar (SAS), is able to survey never reached areas in one mission.
The A27-M, as well as the other AUV of the family, is proposed with dedicated launch and recovery system (LARS) allowing automatic underwater recovery from various naval platform even in the harshest sea state conditions.
ECA Group proposes a wide range of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV), Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USV) and Mine Disposal Systems (MDS), all equipped with the most efficient sensors:
- AUVs for shallow to deep water mine detection and classification
- USVs for very shallow water operation and/or Mine disposal delivery
- Expendable or not MDS for target identification and neutralization in all type of environmental conditions
These vehicles, associated to the new UMIS software suite for mission and data management, are combined in MCM solutions which will be sized according to customer's requests.
