Dominique Giannoni, 52, is a graduate of ENSTA ParisTech., LDCR Armament Corps. He holds a Master of Science Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a degree in management from INSEAD. He was the auditor of the 65th IHEDN session “Defence Policy” and certified by Sciences Po Paris as corporate director.
Before joining ECA GROUP, he started his career at the French Ministry of Defence (DGA) in the naval field. He then held management positions at Cap Gemini Telecom from 1998 to 2003. Then, he joined the Thales group, first to lead the Sonar for Submarines operations, where he managed the programme for the development of new Sonar systems for the next generation of submersibles, and later the Military Avionics Business Line. From 2013 to 2018, he was CEO of Thales In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity based in California, then, returning to France, he managed Thales operations for fighter aircraft.
Dominique Giannoni will take up his functions within ECA GROUP on 2 November 2021. He will bring his broad experience in the defence and naval industry to the company as well as his knowledge in aerospace and international operations. His contribution will allow the group to pursue its development as a major player in the French industrial innovation sector.
