Triton MCM-SuiteMine countermeasure operations, whether conducted with surface ship, USV, or AUV require efficient, rapid, error-free detection and identification of underwater mine-like objects from sidescan imagery. Triton MCM-Suite is a comprehensive software package with all the tools required to perform these functions. Rapid data review and target acquisition can be performed manually on the waterfall display; on the high-resolution mosaics displayed with other geo-registered mission data; or by the CAD module. Advanced, semi-automated target enhancement, analysis, measurement, classification, and reporting tools are provided.
Mine Hunter SimulatorThe system allows to train Mine Hunting operators and officers in a realistic simulator. The integration of multiple sensors like radar and sonar as well as the use of the external visual view 3D graphics creates a realistic Mine Hunter CIC environment. Mine hunting operations are based on SonSim, a powerful application able to re-recreate highly realistic underwater acoustic propagation. Rov Simulator allows to train the operator recognizing underwater objects through the on board camera simulation, classifying mine threats and proceeding with mine disarming through explosive disposal.
MCM Mission Module for Large Multipurpose VesselCurrent MCM technics implies a slow mine detection process with ship hull mounted sonar, which has for consequences that many MCMVs are required to hunt for mines in a given coast area for a country. Multiplying the detection capabilities with ROVs, AUVs and USVs equipped each with detection sonars, extend the surface covered with fewer ships.
