Multipurpose Transportation PalletECA Group has a long experience through various aircraft programs. Various kind of pallet was carried out: Multipurpose pallets included configurable jigs according to aircraft type. We also defined specific functions like hydraulic function leveling. The same pallets are used for transportation between different building in a plant and for assembly process.
FENWALL Fire Loop ControlThis fire loop detection tool is used in many aircraft programs. It has three measurement modes: core continuity, loop insulation or a combination of both. The tool can be used for aircraft production or maintenance.
Telephone NetworkThis ring topology telephone network is set up in several aircraft final assembly lines. It is a wired network of headphones and microphones and ensure secure and effective communication between engineers in the working area of final assembly lines.
Automated Power Breaker CabinetThis circuit breaker simulator automatically connects/disconnects power lines during aircraft testing. It measures power phase and voltage. It has over thousand power breakers. This tool is a ground testing tool designed to equip the A350XWB Final Assembly Line.
Coaxial Harnesses Test BenchThis coaxial harness test bench validates coaxial harnesses before they are fitted on the aircraft. This test bench measures reflexion, transmission, distance to failure point and VSWR. It is used during aircraft manufacturing process in order to optimize production.
Automated Power Fault GeneratorThis compact tool simulates failures to test the power safety system of the A350 XWB aircraft. It can generate up to 120 mA current leakage on each current phase. It also performs three phase power checks and can be controlled manually or remotely by a test management software.
Optical Fire Detection ToolThe fire detection tool is a compact and battery powered tool dedicated to aircraft testing and maintenance. This tool is used to simulate a fire lighting in the most confined space in less than 1 minute. Such optical fire flame sensor stimulation will allow a quick functional test of the aircraft fire safety system.
Automated Electronic Ground Testing SystemThis complete testing system is fitted on the new ATR assembly line. Based on T-Cell technology, this system consists of 30 mobile cabinets testing thousands of points on 6 assembly stations. It can be reconfigured quickly depending on customer workflow. This system is fitted with an automated test sequencer with wireless touchscreen panel give to display functional validation progress.
Generic Power Test BenchThis power board functional tester is a multi-program test bench developped for AIRBUS. This test bench is used to help design all new AIRBUS programs. It is also supplied to the power board manufacturers for their final production tests.
Can Bus TesterThis compact and smart case has been designed to validate the CAN 2.0b equipment network on the AIRBUS A350XWB. It can simulate on-board equipment and its easy-to-use interface displays a huge amount of data. This CAN bus tester is part of a full package of ground testing tools designed to equip the A350XWB Final Assembly Line.
Three Phase Power TesterThis three phase power analyzer is an easy to use and portable tool. This autonomous tool gives instantaneous test results and does not require any maintenance. It can measure 115VAC and 230VAC three phased power level and order. Combined lights status give additional information such as phase inversion issues or ABD100 voltage error. This three phase power tester was designed to equip the A350XWB Final Assembly Line.
Engine Aero Transportation ToolThe engine aero-transportation tool is used to fit an engine into an ATR cabin in a pax configuration. This tool consists of a handling dolly and an engine trolley to be fitted in the aircraft.
Shoring Cradle FuselageSafety stays and shoring cradle fuselage are used to shore up ATR aircraft during maintenance operations. These tools are easy to use and can be used as production tools or as Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
Landing Gear Wheel ChocksThese modular wheel chocks help secure heavy military aircraft during ON/OFF loading operations. Phonic Wheel Conditioning UnitThis compact conditioning unit is a smart engine sensor speed and TOP turn signal acquisition module. Battery SimulatorThis tool simulates 28V battery power. It is a battery simulator that can generate a current up to 90A. It is fitted with overheat and short circuit protection. Video Coupling UnitThe video coupling unit is a multi-channel video equipment which is fitted into a military aircraft. This compact on-board equipment filters and duplicates 12 analog video channels in accordance with MIL-STD-461C standards and is is DO160-D certified.

During the different phases of assembly line, parts of aircraft are integrated. In that purpose, GOODRICH UTC entrust to ECA to design a A380 main landing gear delivery tool which make easier different handlings and “ready to install” to AIRBUS Final Assembly line.
Pylon Backup ToolECA Group, in a constructive partnership with the main aircraft manufacturers, supports its customers all along new projects: ECA Group design and manufacture temporary jigs to allow transition from prototype to serial production. This pylon backup tool is composed of assembly area with several workstations able de take in account different versions of pylon for molding, drilling, clamping and riveting engine pylon.
Prefal Assembly LineECA Group carried out 7 assembly stations for A350 XWB program in Saint-Nazaire plant. Scope included tools, platforms, automation, networks and transportation pallets. Nearly 300 axes driven by numerical control have been integrated to position the various sub-assemblies with an accuracy of +/- 0,1 mm.

In a few minutes, the smart signal routing system automatically switches more than 2500 digital, analog and power signals in 4 different paths depending on the required testing configuration. The hot plugged T-CELLs offer high levels of availability and signal value real time monitoring.
Mobile Electronic Test CabinetT-CELL technology features a full range of compact electronic modules that can be fitted into various compact form factors. These 1 minute replaceable cells can be reconfigured depending on production workflow. A compact cabinet fitted with T-cells can test an entire aircraft area.
Actuator Closed Loop Control ToolThis tool controls spoiler, aileron, elevator and rudder actuators.It is used during manufacturing process and on the runway to adjust flight controls before a flight. It is fitted with its own battery and meets all necessary safety requirements.

Keel Beam Automated Assembly LineECA Group provided the automatic production line of the Keel Beam (structural aircraft part) for A350 XWB. This innovative part is composed of more than 300 pieces.
The flexible line is composed of a main continuous flow composed by 9 stations, an AGV and 5 pallets supporting Keel Beam. ECA Group also integrated 2 specific drilling machines and developed cutting tools. Tools of sub-assemblies are in pull flow.
